Joseph G. Stancato is the Founding Member of The Law Office of Joseph G. Stancato, LLC. He founded the Firm in October 2010 after almost ten years in private practice, a majority of which were spent working with a large Bergen County law firm.

Mr. Stancato is a general practitioner who focuses on the areas of Corporate Law and Business Advisory Services, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Estate Planning.  Mr. Stancato represents corporate clients and individuals in his Corporate and Business Advisory practice with an emphasis on business/corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, buy/sell and asset purchase agreements, restructuring, reorganizations, financing, corporate governance and a broad range of additional business transactions.

Mr. Stancato also has extensive experience in all aspects of the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial and residential real estate.  Mr. Stancato also practices in the areas of  estate planning and estate administration.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Stancato worked in his family-owned restaurant business, Cafe Tivoli, based in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
